2005 Rockpile Zinfandel
The wine is a lush complex of bright red fruit and exotic spices. The palate is rich and chewy and echoes the aromas of raspberry and Bing cherry while soft vanilla oak brackets the jammy fruit center and enhances the well-balanced composition. Very integrated and food-friendly, the finish is languid and extends from one sip to the next.
